React to Changes
At the beginning, the range of parts is not always precisely defined, then a flexible testing system that can be quickly adapted to new conditions is required.
In modern production, components are always changed, adapted or optimized in ever shorter periods of time. Your test system should also be able to accommodate these changes with less effort as possible. Economic utilization is only possible through simple and quick adaptation to changes.
Our testing and sorting systems can react individually and flexibly to your product changes. One example is the quick conversion of our glass disk system to use a grooved plate. The grooved disc is for parts which have to be examined lying flat, e.g. pipe sections with internal threads.
So we recently equipped an OPTISORT W800 with the option of a grooved disc and 2 cameras aligned almost horizontally. As a result, the system is expanded to include a very wide test spectrum. It can now be used as a standard glass disk system as well as a grooved disk system, with a changeover time of just 5 minutes.
A variety of diverse tests on long sleeve-like components, lying on the plate, with subsequent sorting is thus possible. These include, among other things, internal thread tests or freedom from chips in the sleeve, all in throughput, without cycle operation. The end face of the sleeve can also be examined on both sides.
