GEFRA OptiSort with a new High Speed Feeding System for nuts
This new feeding system requires only a small amount of installation space and nevertheless it is still very efficient.
Filling of the feeding system is be done by a bunker system with vibrating channel. The output of the feeding device is a continuous gapless part chain. It is able to provide the machine with up to 1100 parts per minute (e.g. square nut M8).
Even round and hexagon nuts of a similar dimension can now be supplied at this high speed. As a result, we were able to increase the profitability of the complete OptiSort inspection and sorting system even more.
GEFRA is a long established manufacturer and developer of the sorting and inspecting machines OptiSort for the fastener industry. We offer two main machine designs:
- steel ring type OptiSort ST for inspecting screws, blind rivets and long rod-shaped parts (diameter 1,4 to 18 mm, length up to 160 mm)
- glass ring type OptiSort W for inspection of nuts, washers, rivets, and other flat parts. (surface 90 x 90 mm, height up to 130 mm)
Inspection of shaft/head diameter, shaft length, thread quality, surface defects, scratches, cracks, symmetry, straightness, flatness, ovality, deviations of surface colors, coating errors, differences of material quality or hardness.
